Working definition

Civilization diseases — are a heterogeneous, dynamically changing group of disorders with a common denominator: a similar etiological context — conditions whose onset is shaped by health-adverse environmental factors arising from specific civilizational processes.

The definition is at once very broad and decidedly non-obvious — today more a set of questions than ready answers. Sharpening it is one of our first tasks.
